New classes announced

I have two new dates for classes.  Another basics course on 15th May and an advanced class on 26th June.  And here are some new advertising shots for the advanced class where I am trying to channel a shabby chic theme.  If you want to attend one of our classes, get in touch with me at info@cakesbycat.co.uk for more details.

Some advertising cakes and a photography experiment

As we are running a course on 6th March, I thought I would make some cakes to show people what they are going to learn.  Then it became a study in tilt shift photography.  Mr Cakes by Cat discovered this marvellous technique that blurs one edge of the photo.  So after some playing around we ended up with a fabulous set of photos.  If anyone is interested, the photos were taken using an app on the iphone 4.  It seems the need for a separate camera is diminishing!  We are going to keep playing with it and see what happens next time.

Cupcake class

I love teaching people how to decorate cakes. People are always surprised by the professional results they can get if they just have the know how.  I have run a couple of "at home" classes but here is a flyer for our first class open to all!  Hope someone comes!
